Uri Shafir: No Forest

It would seem that there are no places farther apart or more distinct in their essence
than the forest and the theater’s stage; The forest is a place where everything happens -
untold, undescribed, disorganized, untidy.
In this solo, a dancer wishes to enchant the choreography as if it were a forest -
unpredictable, sizzling with life and, full with hidden, tangled, intertwining paths.
Finally, the stage could be a place where it is possible to disappear, to cast doubt, to get
lost, as a must to survive in a world in which the mind exhausts its paths.
