Tracing traditions of memorial and independence ceremonies, ONE STRIKE SALVATION is an attempt to create a ritual of goodbye to a homeland, addressing the impossibility of detachment. Through the deconstruction of tradition and the use of symbolic objects, the performers navigate between past and present, personal and collective. The duet, rooted in rhythm, proposes a radical co-existence of grief and celebration, a repetitive choreography of tension and release.
