An interactive dance performance presented within the framework of Humandroid Festival, September 14-24.

Chris Ziegler/movingimages presents a solo dance performance with Unita Gaye Galiluyo, who uses a life motion capture AR software by Nikolaus Völzow on stage to create AR interactions with the audience. The Interactive Soundscape is provided by Damon Lee.

How does social community take place? Theater is an architecture for community.

PopUp Stage ARENA builds a digital temporary theater that is created before the audience's eyes through the presence of the audience members in interaction with AR software and motion tracking life. The software registers the presence of each individual, creating a virtual architecture that encloses the real circular stage. Dancer Unita Gaye Galiluyo wears a motion-tracking suit that moves a virtual costume like a bubble on her body.

The AR glasses allow the audience:inside to experience the real dancer interacting with the virtual objects freely in space. The audience and the dancer together create an interactive 3D and sound architecture.
