Delicate and flowing, „sinnestaumel“ is almost like chamber music. It unfolds into a sensual work that treats the body as a resonance chamber for music, light and movement.

Three sonatas from Johann Sebastian Bach's „Six Sonatas for Violin and Harpsichord, BWV 1014–1019“ lay the groundwork and drive an extraordinary encounter: Midori Seiler (violin) and Christian Rieger (harpsichord), who specialise in historical performance practice, collaborate with the dancers of Laborgras to create a space in which Baroque lines and contemporary bodies engage in a finely tuned dialogue. The five performers open up associative spaces in endless variations, oscillating between hope, longing, melancholy and joie de vivre. They interweave lyricism, drama, humour and the grotesque to create the poetic power of a humanity that is reflected in dance and music time and again.
