But for Rizzi they were all just experimenting and exploring. The company traveled the world and had a huge impact on the dance world, but often by just imitating the aesthetic.
Rizzi with former colleague, the dancer Irene Klein and academic Alessandro Costagliogla are creating a unique performance for Berlin audiences. It's a very fun lecture to understand deeply the reason of the companys success. In this performance Rizzi is revealing secrets of the special working atmosphere that Forsythe created. Remembering the genius, the chaos, the creativity, the conflicts, the craziness of a special epoch. Weaving stories, dance and rare archival films of BallettFrankfurt, to create a wild roller coaster ride that goes between then and now. With humour he awakens with a nostalgic gleam, the longing for a past time.
