Yeri Anarika was born and raised in Mexico City and graduated from the Academia de la Danza Mexicana and the Centre National de la Danse d'Angers in France.
As a dance artist, she works in the creation and direction of professional dance, theatre, opera, documentary, podcast and numerous cultural education and community projects.
As an artist, she combines dance, music and multimedia to take audiences on an aesthetic and reflective journey. In her latest works, she explores universal and contemporary themes that deal with the complex human condition and our responsibility in today's global environment. Her approach often involves the creation of Characters with defined psychologies, and she always tries to treat the themes with a pinch of humour.
