In 2021 after several delays during 2020 due to the pandemic, she will premier her solo dance piece NEW REAR in DOCK11. As an extension of the research, Demer published the NEW REAR artist book that accompanies the performance on tour. In 2020 she became a resident artist at DOCKART Berlin, receiving a two-year development grant for her on-going projects. Demer's current and long term research project, To Mend, is a topological and choreographic field research in public space, which will also form the basis for her upcoming stage piece.
