Iris Erez

Iris Erez is a choreographer, dancer and teacher; she is the mother of two sons and lives in Israel.
Her work has received numerous awards, including the title of Best Dancer in 2001 and 2018 from the Israeli Ministry of Culture, and the Landau Prize for Dance Performance in 2026.
Her choreographic works include “Homesick” (2010), “I’ll be right back” (2014), “Public Intimacy” (2014), “Local/Not easy” (2016) and “Missing Faces” (2020).
As a dancer, she has worked with Yasmeen Godder, Inbal Pinto, Arkadi Zaides, Ronit Ziv and Anat Danieli, amongst others. She was the curator of the Galilee Mountains Dance Event and the MASH 2015 dance festival in Jerusalem. Today she curates the “Day Light Works” dance series at Nataf. She teaches at the Visual Theater School in Jerusalem and holds a BA in Psychology and Art as well as a diploma in dance therapy.
