Where is the urge to shape and control our future coming from? How can we instead come to terms with and even enjoy the unknown?
bright future is a contemporary dance performance created by choreographer and performer Evangelos Poulinas in collaboration with the performers. The piece explores our imagination of the future and our expectations of it. Where does the urge to shape and control our future stem from? And how does this influence our present? How can we instead come to terms with and enjoy the unknown? The dancers strive for absolute perfection, experience the limits of their physicality, and test their possibilities. They go through moments of success as well as disappointment, of conflict with themselves and their environment.
