In a crisis world, where agony and hope interweave to shape our reality, we grapple with the raw and imagined truths that emerge, instead of pursuing elusive utopias. Alexander's new show is an ongoing work and testament of personal healing, due to a 2019 accident in which nearly lost his life, leaving behind lasting injuries that affect the artist's body today. Amidst an ever-shifting landscape of emotions, a single body that represents everything and nothing, everyone and no one moves. Constantly changing with its environment, not only tells us a multitude of stories but forms a mirror of our society through its individual metamorphoses. Every self, partakes in this existence, carrying multiple realities, tangible and virtual, exploring aspects of diversity in the bodies and psyches of our time. In sensuality, ugliness and beauty, the artist seeks paths that collectively cultivate our bodies for a healthier physical and mental life.
