HELLO KEVIN/Installation of the Senses is a hybrid combining text, music, movement, installation, video and chat transmissions. The installation creates a fictional space called „Kevin“, in which the audience is invited to join a multimedia trip through a gloomy and cheasy vision of the future.
The audience is accompanied by three protagonists to wander through this inviting but simultaneously irritating universe, that oscillates between utopia and dystopia. HELLO KEVIN/Installation of the Senses addresses the desires and needs we developed during the lockdown and examines the ambivalence of our hopes and fears. It offers an immersion into a theatrical world full of sensuality, in between closeness and distance, movement and stagnation, fascination and irritation, reason and desire.
The video shown here is a recording of the last performance on 01.08.2020 at DOCK 11.

TEAM VOLUME is a group that comes together for performative projects. The core team consists of Johanna Strauß-Lemke(choreography and dance), Therese Witt(costume), Teresa Monfared(stage) and Jacob Stoy(sound and media).
The basis of the work are socially relevant and aesthetic questions that are examined in collaboration with guests from different artistic backgrounds. They work together using impulses instead of clear guidelines – breaking down conventional theater structures in favour of collective collaboration.

The piece was collaborative created by TEAM VOLUME (Johanna Lemke, Jacob Stoy, Therese Witt, Teresa Monfared) and Rahel Savoldelli, Chris Scherer and Asier Solana.
