Crackle / Knistern

Daniela Georgieva

Crackle / Knistern

It crackles between body, music, light and space.

Crackle / Knistern is a choreographic arrangement of body, music, light and space: how to create resonance between the elements and allow meanings to become fluid between form and affect? A dancing body becomes a sculpture while the violin stroke materialises in space. Choreographer and visual artist Daniela Georgieva creates a solo for dancer David Kummer that, in dialogue with contemporary jazz musician Julia Brüssel, challenges the boundaries of the portraiture and (own) authorship - a crackle between fragility, grace, form and eruption.
