Transmedia dance performance TERRAS is an audiovisual narrative of kinetic episodes, exploring the effects of sound, visuals, light, space and movement on human perception and emotion. Chrysanthi Badeka focuses on the interconnections of destruction and regeneration, contrasting the disruptive plasticity of the human body with natural phenomena and other organisms. Studying the algorithm as movement and combining choreography with programming and Virtual Reality, the interdisciplinary choreographer explores how computational systems can be integrated into contemporary dance, inviting the audience into a shared sensory experience.
