This duet performance explores the role of identity in relationships. How do people encounter each other at different moments? Who adapts, and to what extent? The socio-political focus is on the intrinsic motivation that drives behaviour. The space between image and value ethics describes the various reasons for doing something and provides inspiration for the performance. There is no universally valid definition of what constitutes a good or bad relationship, nor can the degree of too much or too little be determined in a definitive manner. What is certain is that human beings are designed for social interaction, and individuals are always seeking something in return from others.
