The work operates on a sensory level and attempts to bring the relationship between audience and dancers back to a primal level and redefine what dance is. Embedded in a constantly renewing recursivity, bodies outline forms that find no concreteness; in an exponential progression of intensities, repetitions, accumulations and variations.
The musical structure is therefore dizzying and consists of cycles of speed and strength that increase continuously and progressively, interrupted by moments of sudden pause. Each rhythmic section opens up new body images, with a techno-orientated groove that rejects any established form.
Daniele Albanese has choreographed this dance piece with the dancers Fabio Pronestì and Diego Spiga and the musician Simon Balestrazzi for Fuorimargine - Centre for Dance and Performing Arts in Sardinia and Insulae Lab - Jazz Music Production Centre.
