Joshua Rutter, originally from New Zealand, lives in Berlin, Germany. His work has explored choreographic possibilities found on the internet, with objects, in subcultures and masculine identities. He has a perennial interest in cultures of training and performance. Over the last 20 years he has worked with numerous artists from all over the world in many different contexts. Joshua completed his Masters studies in Solo/Dance/Authorship in 2016 at the Berlin university of the arts. He has performed his own work in Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, Romania and New Zealand.
