Hoyoung Im is a performer, choreographer, composer, video artist and contemporary dance instructor. He majored in Cinema & Theatre, BA of Art in Seoul. Through numerous productions of varied genre he has worked with, he discovered his unique theatrical methods. His artistic projects have been evaluated by critics, 'producing a physical theatre with unique theatrical colours’. Recently his choreographic work has been supported by many different organizations, such as Tanzbüro Berlin, Tanztendenz München e.V and Tanznetz Freiburg, and has been performed all over the world.
