Frantics Dance Company

Frantics Dance Companie is a dance theatre founded by Carlos Aller, Marco di Nardo, Diego de la Rosa and Juan Tirado in 2013 and based in Berlin. The members, who come from different areas of dance and movement, share a common perspective on creative processes and expression.

In their performances, they combine various dance and movement disciplines, both urban and contemporary, with text and physical theatre and influences from literature and philosophical essays.

Their works have been performed around the globe in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Ireland, France, Holland, Greece, Israel, Taiwan and other countries. They have been honoured on numerous occasions, including the RIDCC, Burgos New York, Hannover Choreographic Competition, Danza en el Camino, The Jersualem International Choreography Competition.

At the invitation of Studio ProArte Dance Centre, they curated the Frei Art Festival in Freiburg in 2019 and 2020. The co-founders also work independently with renowned artists from the dance and music scene as well as the visual and performing arts, including Akram Khan, Punchdrunk, Johannes Wieland, Marco Policastro, Miguel Marín Pavon, Wang Ramirez and the Gothenburg Opera as well as international companies and state theatres in Germany.
