The six members of AHA KOLLEKTÍVA aim at creating a platform that would constantly draw on their creativity, where they could think together on a longer term rather than on a project basis. Their long term plans include organizing different workshops where they can share their interests with local contemporary dancers. They are also curious about collaborating with like minded collectives. It is important for them to work together based on friendship, respect and trust, and to create a community with a solid foundation.
The six members of the AHA Collective have been working together since 2020. Four of them - Barbara Eyassu- Vincze, Márton Gláser, Imola Kacsó and Vivien Pi - studied together in Győr. Then they continued their studies at SEAD in Salzburg, where they met the two other members of collective: Balázs Oláh and Luca Kancsó. They took part in classes and creations by guest teachers, and their professional and personal es were strengthened and deepened. After moving home, they started working as freelance dance makers. They danced in various projects, while it remained important for them to think together and to sustain and develop an idea and sensation over a longer period of time.
