Quicksilver Seashore is an immersive, augmented reality performance, with olfactive hints, devised for 2 performers and a free moving audience, all equipped with AR-Glasses. Inside an exhibition type space, equipped with a multi-channel surround sound system the audience encounters two performers embodying the mythological creatures of the siren.
Between attractiveness and monstrosity, organic and artificial, analog and digital, countertenor voice and growling - we encounter the sirens singing their siren songs, wearing a headset microphone connected to various digital sound manipulation algorithms.
Filled with cheap plastics, metallic and poisonous beach landscapes and 3D animated replicas of the performer we enter a collective hallucination at the Quicksilver Seashore.
