This workshop introduces the basics of the Unreal Engine gaming software in conjunction with Rokoko's motion capture software system. In the 1-day workshop (6h)(or 2-day workshop), participants will be taught to interact live with avatars in the game engine and record pre-made motion footage, as well as place it in the virtual world. At the same time, worldbuilding elements, lighting and camera systems of the engine will be introduced and tried out.

The workshop is aimed at dancers, performance artists and other interested people who have (no) experience with motion capturing and want to get started with Unreal Engine.
