Three sisters. Project series

CinemaDance Multichannel installation aims to produce dance films that take themes, scenes, characters and ideas inspired from great works, starting with two pilot projects: "Three Sisters" by Anton Chekhov and "Carmen Suite," which emphasize purely human themes such as the longing for happiness and the search for identity, while connecting and associating contemporary issues.
CinemaDance aims to create works that reach audiences through a multi-channel installation projected on three immersive screens.

Idea / Artistic Direction: Yeri Anarika
With & by: Jennifer Aput, Glenda Sanchez & Yeri Anarika
Film Dance: FotograFilm Baldemar Botinni & Angel Montes
Music: Teichmann Brothers

The multichannel installation “Three Sisters” after Anton Chekhov will represent the longing for happiness through dance, film and electroacoustic music, achieving its own rhythm through symbols and images in the three levels of performance: film, dance and sound, which take up both the character of each sister: Irina, Masha and Olga, as well as part of the narrative line of Chekhov's work. Choreographer Yeri Anarika has collaborated with dancers Jennifer Aput, Glenda Sanchez, video artists Baldemar Botinni and Angel Montes and musicians, Gebrüdern Teichmann, to transform 3 screens and 8 channels of speakers into a concert of dance image and sound that reflect the essence and themes of the play.

about Project series "physical | immersive":
The choreographers Yeri Anarika, Christine Bonansea and Tanja Saban have spent many hours since the founding of DOCKdigital researching the connection between the body and digital art.
In workshops, they teach dancers and game designers how the digital 3D figure, which is detached from physical laws, gender, appearance, form and structure, differs from the real body in actual space. They show which artistic potentials open up and how movements are influenced by them.
Sound architectures are made possible by DOCKdigital's 8-channel multichannel sound system, combined with 8 65'' screens and video technology, an immersive space can be created.
Within the framework of Perspektive Kultur, the choreographers developed together with sound and 3D designers different projects.
