DAW Digital Art Workshops

During the pandemic, many initiatives emerged at the intersection of performing and digital arts. In this project, the Heidelberg and Berlin team is creating a map of initiatives at the intersection of body and digital art.

Who has which technique, who has which skill? Who wants to work with which technology? Who needs support. Where is funding available?

The goal is to simplify access to expensive technology and especially to knowhow with this technology. Of course, this project cannot be a complete mapping of the scene. But a start is being made, a structure is being created to give interested people opportunities to educate themselves and contribute. Besides this research, Digital-Art-Workshops-Weeks (DAWW) are realized in Berlin and Heidelberg.

The (DAW) are prelude for digital nationwide and international pop-up labs.
The (DAW) aim to convey the skills and possibilities of digital art and to make them tangible. DAW is divided into three segments: Research, Workshops, DAW (Digital Art Week).
