Wayne Götz

Wayne works at the intersection of physical theatre, science, improv theater and new media. His current work explores the themes of transience, joyful failure, and artificial intelligence. He has shown his plays in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
He studied philosophy and religious studies at the University of Heidelberg. After a minor in economics at the Pontificia Universidad de Chile, he graduated in physics in 2013. He then worked as CEO of two IT start-ups, one of which was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
After graduating from Folkwang University of the Arts, he explores the combination of scientific approaches and artistic thinking. His working method is characterized by a high level of physical engagement and the blending of different disciplines.
