Join voice teacher and researcher Mauro Fiuza in Berlin for a hands-on experience focused on healthy vocal distortions across styles, from jazz and pop to rock and extreme metal.

Whether you’re a metal singer, musical theatre performer, or just want more colour and edge in your voice, this workshop will give you practical tools you can use, backed by research and years of teaching experience.
Day 1 — Workshop: Applying Distortions in Songs
Saturday, 05.12 | 10:00–17:00
We’ll start with a range of songs—from jazz and pop to rock and metal—and explore how to produce the vocal distortions needed to sing them.
Learn different ways to create and modify vocal distortions, based on various songs, from jazz to extreme metal. Starting from repertoire, we’ll explore the science and practice of vocal distortion in group and individual voice exercises.
