WORKSHOP
All cells in our body consist of atoms bonded together, in constant transformation, change, break and rejoin, in an eternal dance made possible by space and energy.
Human existence relies on connections and exchanges too; to understand these connections, we need space and silence to sense the dance of life.
This workshop seeks a dance rooted in the idea that our existence is inherently relational, that we exist through connection with others, time, space and the universe. It explores movement and the body as an object, not aiming performativity but as an artwork in itself, becoming a channel through which the invisible manifests.
Through guided explorations with concrete and abstract imagery, we will research movement, sounds and poetry, creating solo or group compositions. Each composition will sprout from each individual as a unique form of life, interconnected with others and with the space.
Open to dancers, artists, and anybody with an interest in improvisation, somatic and performative research and self-exploration. Participants will deepen their sensitivity to movement, presence, and relation.
