Rooted in the principles of Release Technique, these classes explore how freedom of movement can arise from both an internal somatic approach-understanding the body's tendencies, characteristics, and kinetic forces-and from a heightened awareness of the space around us and the floor, our "most loyal partner." This holistic view of movement, shaped by bodily action and its natural surroundings, cultivates a continuous awareness of our personal "map of possibilities" as movers and creative beings.
Sharon Zuckerman Weiser is a choreographer, dramaturge, performer, and movement researcher who recently relocated from Tel Aviv to Berlin. A graduate of P.A.R.T.S. (Belgium) and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (Israel), she has collaborated with renowned choreographers and directors such as Yasmeen Godder, Arkadi Zaides, Hillel Kogan, and Jan Decorte. Formerly the head of the KELIM Choreography Program, she has spent the past two decades initiating platforms for professional dance research and performance. Her artistic work explores the human body as a site of thought and emotion, investigating how performance can awaken the beholder's own embodied experience. She presents her work across diverse formats - on and off stage - crafting environments where the resonance of performance can be celebrated.
