Modern/contemporary dance from the age of 10:
Through methods and technique of modern and contemporary dance, the perception of one's own body, its movement possibilities and its coordination are trained. The awareness of time and space is sharpened and through occasional guided improvisations own movement material is generated. Through this and the material given in the course, a longer choreographic sequence is continuously developed. Entry is possible at any time.
Children's dance:
In children's dance, the children's own individuality and creativity is stimulated and their awareness of body and movement is trained. Within a fixed framework of idea and theme, they find orientation and can discover and express themselves dance-wise through imagination-stimulating stories, dance games, child-friendly movement sequences and small interludes of classical dance basics. Entry is possible at any time.
Carina studied dance at Steps on Broadway in New York City (USA), at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln/Center for Contemporary Dance and at the Amsterdam School of Arts/De Theaterschool in the Netherlands. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She completed a yoga training at the Institute for Yoga and Health Cologne and graduated with a Master in Choreography at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch"/Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz Berlin. She is active as a dancer/performer, choreographer, dance teacher and actress and is currently finishing another Master in Dance Studies at the FU Berlin.
She has been teaching children's dance, ballet, contemporary/modern dance, urban dance/hiphop and yoga since 2009. She is also active in dance-artistic integration and dance in schools projects.
