On June 13, 2025, Fe Reichelt would have turned 100.
We would like to remember her on this special day and celebrate her together.

Friederun "Fe" Reichelt, born on June 13, 1925 in Beijing, China, died on January 5, 2023, in Berlin-Kreuzberg, at the age of 97. Until a few months before her death, she practiced the "morning exercises" she had developed and taught daily.
She was a master student of Mary Wigman and, as a dancer and choreographer, helped shape the dance scene in Germany after World War II. She founded several dance venues, such as the Dance and Theater Workshop in Frankfurt am Main and a dance school in Düsseldorf, which later became the well-known Tanzhaus NRW.
Fe Reichelt is considered one of the co-founders and pioneers of dance and breath therapy in Germany. She and her colleagues founded the Frankfurt Institute for Dance Therapy (F.I.T.T.), which in turn co-founded the Professional Association of Dance Therapists in Germany (BTD).
Together with her team, she founded the association "Fe Reichelt Institute e. V." in January 2016, of which she served as chairwoman until her death in 2023.
