Sonic somatics is a moving, embodied deep listening practice—where listening incorporates awareness of the entire somatosensory system. Through the kinesthetic sense, the practice explores the relationship between sonic and spatial perception and how sonic spatial flow composes movements.
By deepening into the sensation and affect of sound, a presence emerges in which the reciprocity between sound and body unfolds as a vibrational, resonant space—bridging physical and psychic landscapes. This listening with the body evokes a dream state, where sensory experiences expand into fluid, continuously evolving sonic environments.
In this session we dive into Jojo & tanjas current creation “in the shadows beneath branches and scars” , evolving in the acoustic space of an alpine forest landscape through a spatialised sound composition and live set by Jojo
The workshop starts with a warm up and tuning of the body, mind and senses. We then explore various modes of listening with and through the body in movement and stillness. The session concludes with a sonic journey where all the elements of the practice merge into each participant's individual sonic dreambody journey.
the workshop is open to all levels of experience

is a dancer, choreographer Gaga teacher and somatic movement coach. She is co-foundress of D’FRAC, a platform for immersive dance experiences oscillating between clubculture, performance and somatics. The heart of her artistic solo practice, g e s c h oe p f, is an ongoing research of the body in motion - a space of dreaming awake and radical imagination in the unfolding of sensory intelligence. Evolving around nature and mythology, the practice develops works at the intersection of dance, digital art/technologies and spatial sound.

Justin is the musical project of sound and media artist Johanna Schütt, who works around the margins of text, sound and experimental dramaturgies, with current research examining relations of space, sound and body. For the first collaborative public session, Justin prepares a hybrid spatialized dj-set with slow, lush and deep content as a sonic space for somatic exploration.
