✹Enter 𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐣𝐤𝐢 - a dark corner of the Post-Polish Universe, where Slavic feral tales hide.✹
Various collectives - Kujonki, Cipka Imbiss, Sabbath and Lotion—join forces to share the results of their world building practices inspired by our shared desire to create a post-national identity, honouring roots and playing with stereotypes.
Somewhere between Berlin and the places we once called home, a different universe has emerged - one built from queer imagination, forgotten folk traditions, absurd humour, experimental music and the stubborn need to reinvent ourselves.
We invite you on a journey created for all the senses: set in a scenery created by Kujonki, you will be able to taste and hear stories about ancestral flavours reimagined by Cipka Imbiss. Asidron's live hypnosis session will hold space to collectively dream a prophecy of a world not yet built, but possible. Finally we will drift through performances by artists from opposite ends of the musical spectrum: mia essa fka aemlx whose set combines ambient noise, operatic glitches and folk instruments, Xenon - continuing the Polish traditions of psychorap with a lesbian-futuristic spin, and Eva Nixa, weaving fragments of Slavic folk, cello and otherworldly sounds into a soundtrack of forgotten tales and places left behind.
Come unleash your inner 𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐣𝐤𝐚 with us.
We need you hungry, curious and ready to experience a version of Polish culture you probably didn't know existed.
