Throughout the week participants will explore:
Whether your interest is creative or professional or personal, the work offers multiple pathways into the experience. This week offers an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with what already exists beneath the noise. Together we will explore how voice, body and presence influence the atmospheres we create inour creative practices, our teaching, facilitation, our relationships and everyday lives.

Participants often leave with a greater sense of authentic embodiment, clarity, confidence and connection.

The final stage of the intensive adopts a laboratory approach, giving participants the opportunity to explore practical applications of the work, ask questions, receive individual guidance and investigate how Voice Movement Immersion can support their own creative practice, facilitation, teaching or therapeutic work.

The atmosphere throughout the week is supportive, playful and non-performative. Participants are always encouraged to work at their own authentic pace.

• Voice and movement improvisation
• Embodied awareness practices
• The exploration of the primal voice

• Individual and group processes
• Reflection and shared dialogue
• Voice Movement Scores and creative prompts

About Randolph Matthews

Randolph Matthews is an international artist, vocalist, composer and Voice Movement Therapist whose work explores the relationship between voice, body, presence and human connection.Over the past thirty years, he has travelled to more than fifty countries, creating bridges through music, composition, education and community-based work. His practice brings together artistic expression and lived experience, supporting people, groups and organisations to reconnect with themselves, each other and the environments they create.

After studying voice at Goldsmiths, University of London, Randolph undertook further training in Voice Movement Therapy in Boston, USA, exploring the relationship between voice, movement and human behaviour through the work of voice specialist Paul Newham.

Drawing upon both professional training and his multicultural heritage, Randolph's work is rooted in a deep desire to help people remember themselves, rediscover the value of community and reconnect with the voice and presence that already lives within them. His approach invites people not to find their voice, but to remember the voice that was there all along.
