We invite you to join us for a two-day workshop based on Attar’s "The Conference of the Birds"—a mystical Persian poem. In this story, many birds leave their personal comfort zones behind to embark together on a great journey in search of a higher being. In the end, they find what they’ve been seeking within themselves—as a collective of companions.
Over the course of two days, we’ll embark on an inner and outer journey through the space as bird characters, alternating between narration, improvisation, play, and conversation. We’ll guide you through seven valleys of archetypal emotions and states of being. Among other things, we’ll focus on naming your own cherished certainties, supporting one another, questioning them for a moment, sharing fears, and creating greater connection. Appropriate exercises and guidance will help you feel these experiences and give them expression.
