Yulia Kim

K-Pop for ages 15 and up

In this class, we dive into K-POP choreography with current and vibrant music from various artists and groups. The main focus is understanding musicality, timing, and stylistic details within K-POP movement.
Students learn the choreography step by step, improving memory, clarity, and control. The class encourages attention to musicality, spatial awareness, and performance presence, helping them strengthen both their technical and expressive abilities.

All levels are welcome. The goal is simple: come as you are, move with joy, and enjoy dancing in a supportive and energetic environment that welcomes every mover.

Yulia Kim is a choreographer, dancer, and dance teacher working between Berlin and Seoul. She holds a BA and MA in Dance and Performing Arts from Hanyang University, where she trained in Korean traditional dance and developed a movement practice that bridges tradition and contemporary expression.
She has been teaching K-POP dance professionally since 2022, first in Seoul and now in Berlin, guiding students from beginner to pre-professional levels. Her approach to K-POP combines musical precision, stylistic awareness, and a clear understanding of performance dynamics.

As an artist, she explores the relationship between body, perception, and the universe. Her work reflects on the resonance between tradition and modernity, using movement as a lens for observing the world and the self.
