Improvisation for Beginners
This class is an invitation to slow down, become present, and reconnect with the body.
Through improvisation, we cultivate the ability to listen to the body—to notice sensations, impulses, and subtle shifts, and to respond to what is happening in the present moment. Improvisation becomes a practice of embodied listening, opening space for intuition, curiosity, and play.
The class offers a safe and supportive space to explore movement without judgment or expectation. Through this exploration, we deepen our somatic understanding of the body and awaken its capacity for creativity, spontaneity, and connection.
This practice is rooted in the belief that the body holds its own intelligence. By learning to listen and trust it, we can develop a more open and playful relationship with ourselves, our movement, and the world around us.
No previous experience in dance or improvisation is required. Everyone is welcome.
