UNFOLD is a movement and awareness training with the Alexander Technique as a springboard. It facilitates the integral development of the self through movement and dance.
The work provides clear information and tools to restore natural muscle length and improve coordination. Through psychophysical dialogue with our often limited support and movement systems, deeply ingrained habits of posture and movement begin to release. In this new level of alertness and physical efficiency, we redefine our relationship to lightness, gravity, space and time, and to movement and imagination. From the subtlety of an effortless vertical to the unfolding of an enveloping joy of movement, a profound transformation can be glimpsed.

Valentina Bordenave is an Argentinian freelance dancer, choreographer and since 1998, certified Alexander Technique teacher based in Berlin, graduated in dance from the Folkwang University.
In her more than 20 years experience as a dancer and facilitator, Valentina has been developing her own research on spatial and energetic awareness in intense physicality. Valentina is the founder of UNFOLD TECHNIQUE.
She is part of the core teaching team at ARTHAUS Berlin - International School of Performing Arts. Others pedagogical experiences include between others the Inter-University Center for Dance Berlin (HZT), the Acting Departements at the University of Arts (UDK) and at Ernst Busch University.
