This workshop introduces space as an active element to generate movements and dances. The proposed work aims to deepen the practice of instant composition within a context that facilitates the emergence of creative and performative skills. Through a clear pedagogical pathway, each participant will be accompanied to develop his/her own technique in relation to the perception and use of the space. Starting from space as a mass that envelops and supports our dancing body, the workshop will explore other ways to work with, to mold the space, to shape it. Individual and group exercises will be proposed to learn how to handle space from the tangible level to the imaginary and narrative one.

Dance’s poetry of the present moment, stories revealed from the body playing with space.

Participants will be guided in the workshop through a progressive approach that starts from the simplicity of the individual act, to reach the complexity and richness of an instantaneous group composition.
