b12 - the festival for contemporary dance and performance art in berlin 2024 will be going to endlessly release your endorphins! first you will be getting high on our new 4-day satellite program, b12 spring, running from the 11th - 14th of april 2024, just to be carried away by our main b12 summer festival - launching for four weeks in july with a tremendous amount of workshops, performances and events, followed by yet another 4-day satellite event, b12 fall. if this is not going to light your fire, we recommend lucy in the sky with diamonds.
we actually would hope to see you at the spring, summer and the fall festivals, where you will have the opportunity to dance alongside and learn from an amazing selection of inspiring teachers, artists and choreographers. they are coming together to share their passion and knowledge with you and your fellow artists in a light flooded and nature surrounded studio environment. these three festivals are happening in person and on site here in berlin, at the studios and theatres, with all of the participants, teachers and choreographers and audiences.
a variety of approaches awaits you. from film to text, movement, acrobatics, theatre, the experimental, the unexpected to the futuristic. the best part: you make your own workshop plan! all of the teachers that we invite are interesting in their very own way and we are excited to match you all.
we welcome you to choose from over 80 of the workshops and research experts at the festival this year, with long workshop times that give you a chance to deepen your journey in pursuit of artistic growth and exploration. you will receive new tools and inspiration to find freedom to release the ever growing force inside of you. here at b12, you become part of a curious community that cares about the untold. daily vinyasa yoga classes are also open to all participants of the festival, free of charge. come willing and ready for new challenges and expansion, and your stay in berlin will give you an experience that you will never forget!
b12 is committed to contemporary dance and performance art and loves the unconventional. it is dedicated to supporting artists who take physical and emotional risks on stage and in the rehearsal process - supporting different ways of working and approaches.
while we are working on having a performance at b12 spring and b12 fall, we are excited to host many performances and events for our audiences at b12 summer.
b12’s bounds continue to evolve further and, this year, we will be organizing again discussion platforms to give you the opportunity to exchange and share your views, to connect with peers, teachers, and anybody wanting to stop by.

apart from our professional workshops, we invite anyone and everyone to our outreach workshops for the general community. in these workshops, you will develop an understanding of body language, self-esteem, teamwork, and finding, and connecting with the power of your inner-dancer.
