In NACH DEM HÖRSTURZ, a sensual performance oscillating between concert and dance theater, dancer Katharina Maschenka Horn and musician Janner deal with the processing of crises and the inherent awakening potential to cope with these crises. Taking their individual and lived experiences as a starting point they search for a new social approach to deal with crises.
As a collective, KAJA transcends the limitations of their respective professions, blurring the boundaries between concert and theater, high and popular culture. Music and dance stimulate each other leading to an inspired state of flow, which is reflected on stage in the course of the performance.
The two artists leave behind their professional comfort zones, thus make it possible for themselves and the audience to experience how a crisis can become the source of a different consciousness, of new energy and of alternative action. The music created for the piece, as well as the dance, moves eclectically between quiet songs, intimate embraces and wild electronic sounds and mosh pits.
