It's About Time

A journey through the sensations and the multidimensionality of time.
The work is dealing with different ways of sensing time and relating to it. From being in the speed of our busy city environments to experiencing the slowness of vast and endless nature landscapes.
Can we influence time? Manipulate it, stretch it, compress it, stop it? Can we exist next to time, and can we go forward in order to go back in time? Can it be our companion? Can we dance with time? What is affecting our sensation of time and how can we detach ourselves from that – those questions were central for the creation of this work. It challenges our conventional understanding of what it means to “use time in the best way” – doing more, producing more, working harder and improving in a linear way – in proposing a process oriented conception of time. Life is more than a collection of products. Life happens all the time. It's not linear and it's not always going forward, and in life, sometimes "more" can mean different things.
This work is dealing with ways of relating to time: from being in the speed of our busy city environments to experiencing the slowness of vast and endless nature landscapes.

spills are spells that don’t trust the distance explores relationships between images, touch and space. How can the gap become a medium for connection? Let’s assume that space is never empty but a pool of experiences and that experiences are landscapes inviting you to look closer, to touch or to breath in. Look at the landscape between the movements, the sounds, the words, between us. What you are looking at is already inside you. You spilled it.
