Tatiana Mejia Matos is a dancer, performer and choreographer living in Berlin. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, she studied at the National School of Dance in Santo Domingo. There she developed various works with her own group Desdoblados and was a founding member of the National Ensemble of Contemporary Dance. She has been artist in residence at the American Dance Festival, Bates Dance Festival, Iberescena and Ponderosa. Since 2011 she has performed in Berlin at the Sophienesaelen, Dock 11, HAU, Schaubühne or Maxim Gorki Theater and worked with Jeremy Shaw, Martha Hincapie, Ashley Fure, Sergiu Matis, Julian Weber, Abraham Hurtado, Romeo Castelluci, Jeannette Ehlers, among others.
