Jeanna Serikbayeva is a dancer and actress living in Berlin and Luxembourg. Her
education began in the State Academy of Dance Coast in Almaty, Kazakhstan. After that
she studied theater science in Paris at the Sorbonne University.
She was a dancer with the Ballet National du Rhin (Mulhouse) and with Aterballetto, Fondazione Nazionale de la Danza (Reggio Emilia).
Her repertoire included choreographies by Mauro Bigonzetti, Bertrand D'At, Dominique
Bagouet, Jiri Kylian, Itzik Galili, Michele Abbondanza and Antonella Bertoni, Renato Zanella,
Christian Spuck, Yoshiko Waki, Olivier Py, Jakob Ahlbom.
Jeanna is currently devoting more time to dance theater. In 2011 she performed in Avignon at the Theater Festival in Avignon, playing the main role in the play Bric a Brac, which ran at the Theatre du Balcon.
Currently Jeanna is working on different projects on various stages such as DOCK 11, Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, Théatre National du Luxembourg, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Geneva Opera. Opera. With bodytalk Jeanna has been performing throughout Germany since 2010.
