Choreographer Heidi Weiss has been an active member of the Berlin dance scene for over 25 years. Together with Jennifer Mann, she established the company zen in the basement, in the 1990´s. Together they created many productions that have been performed in EU, Asia and the USA. After a long hiatus from the stage, she and Jennifer performed Do or Die, in 2013 and 2014. Since then, Heidi has been active as a teacher, traveling to many schools and universities as a professor, choreographer and mentor. For many years, Heidi has had the desire to work with a larger ensemble of mature dancers over the age of 45. This collective is made up of close colleagues and friends, many of whom have been a part of past productions. The cast was selected based on their depth of experience.
