May 29th - June 1st, 2025 "The fruits of Eden”

There are forgotten spaces in our body's memory where time seems to have stood still. We will open and ventilate these spaces. The slowness and silence between movements opens the door to new possibilities. In Butoh dance we move our bodies from strong, repetitive imaginations. These imaginations support the intensity of our movement. The healing powers of our nerves and fascia are awakened. The polyvagal nervous system is activated in Butoh dance, so that dance can emerge from the very foundation of our being and bring our essential forms of expression to light. In Butoh dance, we let the body speak to us from its innermost layers. This creates a dance that can touch the collective subconscious of the "spectators". In this workshop, each person is supported in developing the personal expressiveness of their own dance. The different styles of Annalisa and Henriette merge sensitively and open up a wide spectrum of expression possibilities for the participants. Three workshops as a trilogy Which can be booked together or independently of each other. The third part is a performance workshop.

First part: "Rizome"
In this workshop, we will let the energy of autumn in. Draw our strength into our roots and let the body speak from our depths. Our extensive shared root system can develop. We can perceive these connections in our body and share them with other dancers and create a dance of belonging. We will contact the collective, pulsating body, the grounding, the rooting, the connection with the earth and between living beings. "Rizome" Dance!

Second part: "Blooming"
Dancing, we open ourselves to the returning light of February. We use the transformative power of early spring, sense its resonance in our own bodies and immerse ourselves in the metamorphosis of opening. Awaken organic and natural movements to unfold. In dance, we discover new ways to make our inner flowers, our most authentic being, bloom.

Third part: "The fruits of Eden”
A walking act about fading and blowing away... (4 days on Ascension Day with a final performance in Mauerpark) Our imaginations guide our movements, our bodies are moved from our inner images. The group performance arises from our invisible connections, our shared breath, our imagination, our bodies.
