Forming a movement into a movement phrase enables the participants to experience the movement in its precision and dynamics. How does the body develop? We experiment with movement in contact with the floor and space, refine our own body perception, work on the alignment of the body in the energy flow of movement and music.

rikivonfalken.com has been working as a dancer and choreographer in Berlin since 1981.
She used study visits to New York to get to know the work of Merce Cunningham, Trisha Brown, Jennifer Muller and Stephen Petronio. Since 1989 she has produced 17 full-length plays both in Berlin and in Southeast Asia. THE ARCHITECTURE OF A LINE was published in 2019 tanzforumberlin.de/produktion/die-architektur-einer-linie/, 2022 the production I AM WATCHING THE LIGHT CHANGING. In September 2023 she showed a new work at the TANZNACHT / 25 Years festival. 80 artists/25 hours of dance. In 2022 & 2023 she will receive the Dance Practice Scholarship from the Berlin Senate for Culture and Europe. She led training classes and workshops for modern and contemporary dance, including at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, National Academy of Arts Culture & Heritage (ASWARA) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

She gave workshops in New Zealand for the Southern Light Dance Company, the Footnote Dance Company and at the New Zealand SCHOOL OF DANCE. Further invitations took her to Cameroon, Fortaleza and Salvadore de Bahia in Brazil in collaboration with the Goethe Institutes.
In Berlin she teaches at DOCK 11.
