Sven Seeger

Ballet

Ballet lives from its technical complexity; an anatomical movement principle whose form language allows the most diverse interpretation possibilities. It is Svens concern to show a way that conveys the structure of this complex dance technique, and at the same time releases the movement with different dynamics. His approach is to convey complex sequences with ease and the use of different dynamics and to experience and perform them physically in an atmosphere of letting go.

Ballet is like learning to walk, but first we fall so that we can find the ground. It is a magical process of getting to know yourself in your motor skills and feeling your limits. The testing of the limits. We face the complex physical challenge in a flowing and dynamic transformation in space. I imagine us taking flight and expanding into space, striving for and embodying the illusion with elegance and detail.
